A day at the beach in Adelaide

I decided to spend the weekend in Adelaide after being here for a few days for work. But I’m in training for the Oxfam so I decided I needed to go for a walk today.

I walked from my hotel in the north of the city grid down to Glenelg and then along the foreshore and back to catch a tram back into the city. I knew I was in danger of getting rained on, but I made the full 30 kms without a drop of rain; but I finished just in the nick of time.

By the time I got back to the city it was raining and bloody cold, about 12oC according to the BOM site. I don’t mind being cold or wet, but I don’t like being cold and wet. Well, that’s not quite true, I don’t like being cold at all…

  1. RE: your ‘I don’t like being cold at all’ – you wouldn’t happen to have been born in North Qld by any chance?
