Rome is truly one of the worlds “ancient cities”
Like many Italian cities, Rome is a labyrinth of narrow alleyways and small squares. We stayed very close to the Pantheon and were within walking distance of may of the Ancient attractions that Rome is famous for.
As is Jan and my fate – some of the Colosseum was hidden under scaffolding undergoing preservation
