Rome
Like many Italian cities, Rome is a labyrinth of narrow alleyways and small squares

Portovenere
Yesterday we took the ferry to Portovenere. It’s a small village on the western end of the peninsula that forms the La Spezia harbour. From Portovenere the boats head north up the western coast to the Cinque Terre.
Ferrari Museum

Venice and other islands
Yesterday we bought a 24hr ferry pass and set out for the islands of Murano and Burano.
Teatro alla Scala
